Provides detailed instructions on how to configure and use the App Wallet screen.
App Wallet is equipped with a function to create a wallet account on the user's mobile device to transfer and exchange tokens. Major functions are as follows: support token management and transfer, exchange between tokens, transaction history confirmation, connection with WEMIX service, and contract execution requests. App Wallet can recover your wallet account with a secret(mnemonic) phrase, and only you can check and manage the secret phrase, so keep it in a safe place and never share it with others.
When starting the WEMIX Wallet service for the first time, you can create and restore a wallet accounts.
When you select the [Create new wallet] button, you can create a new wallet account. If you select the [Restore existing wallet] button, you can restore the wallet account you created previously.
If you do not agree to the Terms of Use, you cannot create a wallet.
After agreeing to the terms and conditions, you will proceed to the password registration, and passwords with more than 3 of the same digits cannot be used.
After finishing with the password registration, there is an additional option to add biometric authentications (Face ID, Touch ID). If you have registered for biometric authentication, you can use your device's biometric authentication instead of your password for in-app authentication.
If the password was successfully registered, a screen to confirm the secret phrase of the created wallet will be provided. On this screen, the clipboard copy function is supported so that the secret phrase can be copied, and the procedure to check whether the secret phrase is well-kept will be carried out. If you do not select a word that matches the order of the secret phrase during the passphrase verification, wallet creation will not be completed, so make sure to keep the secret phrase safe before proceeding with the process. When the passphrase verification is complete, a new wallet will be created and you will be taken to the app's home (Balance) screen.
Prior to recovery, users must know the secret phrase of the wallet they want to recover.
After agreeing to the terms and selecting the [Restore existing wallet] button, a screen for entering a secret phrase is provided. The secret phrase can be entered directly by the user or written through the paste function.
After entering a valid passphrase, you will be able to register a new password and set whether to use biometric authentication. After completing the process, the wallet recovery process is complete.
