# Introduction to Neith Protocol

Neith Protocol is the core protocol for NILE, designed to enable DAOs to operate in a unique and efficient way for common goal. With the Neith protocol, all community members can operate groups to achieve goals by participating in group decision-making processes autonomically and transparently, according to rules set by Smart Contracts without a separate centralized management body with ranks or grades, in activities like recruiting DAO members, financing, execution of businesses and distribution of profits.
